My name is Elizabeth Mitchell and I am the adviser of Tabb Middle School’s online newspaper and yearbook. The Yearbook and Newspaper Staff and I are very excited to have this webpage to post and share information about the happenings at our school. This site will be a work in progress for the year. Please keep in mind that the staff is comprised of middle school students whose writing abilities are constantly improving.

Hi, I’m Laine Elliott! I am in 8th grade and this is my second year on the Yearbook and Newspaper staff. In my free time I like to play soccer, run, draw, and hang out with my friends. I’ve been playing piano for 7 years and tenor saxophone for 2. Yearbook, art, and drama are my favorite classes. I’m really looking forward to making another great yearbook and writing articles for ‘What’s the Rumble’!

Hi, my name is Rachel Lucas. I am in 8th grade and this is my second year being the Yearbook/Newspaper staff here at TMS. I love Yearbook, it is one of my favorite classes in school right now. I loved being on the staff before, so I’m extremely excited to be back as an editor.
One of the hobbies I love to do is play lacrosse. When I was 8 years old I joined the county lacrosse team which is how I began. I love hanging out with my amazing friends, taking pictures of anything that’s pops in front of me, and having a good time with my family. I’m psyched to be back, and I hope you’ll enjoy everything our staff has to offer!
Naomi Barnett
Hello, my name is Naomi Barnett. This is my second year on the yearbook team, and I am just as excited as I was last year. Some things you should know about me are that I’ve played soccer for 6 years, and in my free time I enjoy reading a good book, preferably romance!!! When I grow up I plan on being an author and a culinary artist. Also, I LOVE hanging out with my three buds, Anishaa, Kaila, and Amanda on the weekends, or in the hallway at school. I am really looking forward to another great year!!
Alison Brewer
Hi! My name is Alison Brewer. I’m in 8th grade and am super excited to be on the TMS Yearbook & Newspaper staff this year. One of my favorite classes this year is Art. I play travel soccer all year round. Also I have played soccer since I was three years old. I lived in Germany for five years. Lastly, I am extremely happy to be on the staff.
Claudia Deyerle
Hi, my name is Claudia Deyerle and I’m a 7th grader at TMS. This is my first year in Yearbook and I’m really excited to start working! In my free time I like to cheer, dance, and hang out with family and friends. My favorite color is purple and I love giraffes! Also my favorite foods are mashed potatoes and mac’n cheese. I am very excited to be on the Yearbook/Newspaper Staff.
Matthew Guttilla
Hello. My name is Matthew Guttilla. I am a seventh grader, and I am new to the Yearbook and Newspaper Staff. I live at home with my parents, brother and sister. I also have two dogs named Sadie and Sable. Pretty much everything that I do and enjoy has some sort of relationship with sports. I play baseball, my favorite sport, and watch almost any sport that I can. Every day I am online looking to find more sport related information. I’m psyched to be on the staff, and I believe that this will be a great year.

Hi! My name is Kristen and I am in 7th grade. I am very excited to be working on the TMS Yearbook staff ! I am new to Tabb Middle School this year. Some of my interests include shopping, gymnastics, playing with my puppies, and hanging out with my friends! My favorite color is purple. I would like to be a journalist when I get older because I love English so much. I hope you enjoy the Yearbook this year and be sure to check out “What’s the Rumble” for new articles!
Nicolette Juby
Hey! My name is Nicolette Juby and I am 12 years old. My favorite sport to play is volleyball! I have 2 brothers and a German shepherd, Buckeye (she is a girl). I was born in Garfield Heights, Ohio. My favorite college football team is the Ohio State Buckeyes! My favorite colors are purple and blue. In my free time I like to hangout with my friends and family or just watch a movie. And I am so excited to be on the Yearbook and Newspaper Staff!! I am going to have a blast this year…I hope.
Ji Sung Kim
Hello, my name is Ji Sung Kim. This is my first time being on the yearbook/ newspaper staff and I am excited to learn more about how to use computers and technology. I was born in Incheon, South Korea and moved here to the United States when I was three years old.
I do track, soccer, swimming, and taekwondo; but my two main sports are swimming and taekwondo. I work as a taekwondo instructor for kids from age 4 to 13. In my free time, I go to swimming pools or to the movies. I love smoothies, but I hate fish. My goal is to become a pediatrician, because I love little children. My favorite animal is the panda and I love navy blue. I live with my mom, dad, brother, and sister. I play guitar, piano, and the clarinet. I hope everyone enjoys reading the newspaper and the yearbook.
Brooke King
Hi, my name is Brooke King and I love Walmart. This is my first year on the Yearbook Staff and I’m glad I’m in it. I love to play soccer. My favorite color is lime green, and I love animals. My favorite food is a BLT from a good restaurant. I love to watch a good scary movie, like Insidious. Also I love to boogie board in the summer. Being on the Yearbook/Newspaper Staff will be a great experience this year.
Lindsay Langan
Hi there! My name is, Lindsay. I’m 12 and in 7th grade. I’m excited to be on the Yearbook/Newspaper staff this year because I like typing,writing, taking pictures, and having fun! I play Field Hockey on the school team. In my free time I like to hang out with my friends and go outside. I LOVE zebra print. I like being in 7th grade better than 6th grade because we have more things to do! I was a manager last year for Field Hockey, so this year I can be a player. I hope this year will be as fun as I thought it would be!
Jennifer Lee
Hi! My name’s Jennifer Lee and of course I’m on the Yearbook Staff! I’m 13 years old and I’m in 8th grade. My favorite color’s blue. I also enjoy having fun with my friends and family, and I definitely enjoy being in Yearbook! I love reading and typing so Yearbook interests me. I was born in Newport News, Virginia. One thing about me that’s different is that I’m part Korean! My parents were born in Korea, but I was born in the United States, which makes me a U.S citizen. Being on Yearbook’s probably one of the most exciting class I’ve ever taken in middle school!
Ryan Leno
My name is Ryan Leno. I was born in Tallahassee, Florida. It was really hot down there! My favorite sport is baseball. I play for three teams: the Renegades, York County, and Tabb. I am 12 years old and my dad is in the military. He just got back from his deployment where the HQ is. My favorite color is blue and my favorite food is chicken, but I hate green beans. I now live Virginia. I’ve lived here for about a year or so.
It’s been really fun this year in 7th grade and I’ve met a lot of new friends. I have 2 brothers and 1 sister. Don’t forget about my dogs Maggie and Margaret. One of my hobbies is playing video games like Call Of Duty and Halo. When I grow up I want to be in the MLB and play for the Yankees. I love Busch Gardens and my favorite ride there is Apollo’s Chariot. I’m really excited to be on the Yearbook Staff!
Caroline Lloyd
Hi! My name is Caroline Lloyd! I am in 7th grade, and I love Yearbook! I love doing the fun things like taking pictures, writing captions and articles. In my time out of school I enjoy playing competitive travel soccer, piano, drawing (when I don’t have a broken wrist) singing, surfing the web, watching YouTube videos, playing Halo: Reach on Xbox 360, and hanging out with my friends. I am very energetic and creative, and I love to talk in accents. Finally, I’m excited to be on the Yearbook and Newspaper Staff this year.

I am very funny at times and love to make people laugh. My favorite colors are blue, silver, red, and black. I have a very old fat dog, named Pebbles. She is very close to me. My dislikes are…jellyfish, sharks, bees, snakes, bugs, baked beans, too much sauce on my pizza, and rude people. I often surprise people by shouting out random things.
Micaela Macfarlane
Hey, I’m Micaela Macfarlane. I am in 8th grade and even though I am new to Yearbook, I am really excited to be on the staff. I absolutely love to play basketball and hang out with my older sister. Reading and being outside are things that I like to do. My favorite colors are blue and green. I have gone to TMS since 6th grade and I have enjoyed a lot of it. Being on the Yearbook/Newspaper Staff is going to be a lot of fun, I’m sure.
Makayla Martin
Hello my name is Makayla Martin, and I am on the Yearbook Staff. I enjoy going to the mall and hanging out with my friends. My favorite hobby is cheerleading. I don’t cheer for my school though. I am in the midst of signing up for competition cheerleading. I also enjoy gymnastics. My favorite restaurant is Smokey Bones I love their BBQ chicken. I have two little sisters named Kaitlyn and Emily. They are both less than eight so I am practically their live-in babysitter, but most of the time I don’t mind. Emily isn’t even in elementary school yet so she still has a long way to go. I have two pets named Harley and Freckles. My dog is Harley, my cat is Freckles, and I love them both! I hope to have a great year on the Staff!
Kaila Scott
Hi! My name is Kaila Scott. I’m in 8th grade. I was ecstatic when I was accepted into this class! This is my first year being on the Yearbook & Newspaper Staff. I enjoy being with my friends and family. My close friends would describe me as care-free and energetic. I myself would say that I have a very fun and outgoing personality once you get to know me. In my leisure time I play with my dog, Brian and my guinea pig, Jordan. I love to swim, paint, and get to know new people. I have a feeling that this school year is going to be a blast!
Allison Sherwood
Hi! I’m Allison and this is my first year on the Yearbook Staff. I am in 8th grade, and I am very excited to be here. During my free time I enjoy riding my horse and hanging out with my friends. I also like listening to music and playing sports. This year the two things I really look forward to are taking pictures and writing articles for ‘What’s the Rumble’! I believe that this year is going to be absolutely amazing!
Anishaa Tripuraneni
Hi, my name is Anishaa Tripuraneni and I am super excited to be on the staff again. My afterschool activities include dancing, soccer, and piano. I love hanging out with friends, going on long peaceful bike rides, and tropical vacations. Ill try to accomplish my goal of getting all A’s this year. I look forward to a year filled with friends, fun, and laughter and of course a FABULOUS yearbook!
Emily Wright
Hey! My name is Emily Wright. I just turned thirteen on September 9th. I have two brothers, one older and one younger. Also, I have a rabbit named Mr. Whiskers. I can speak some German and I’m also learning French. I play on a soccer team, which is really fun, and I’m going to try out for JV track this spring. I sure hope I make the team! My favorite color is Magenta! I was born in Valdosta, Georgia. I really like to hang out with friends, listen to music, watch movies, and swim (not all the time or for competitions though, just for fun.) M&Ms is the all time best food on this planet! I think they’re completely perfect. I’ve lived in Georgia, Missouri, Michigan, and Germany, but the place I liked best is here. I’m sure being on the Yearbook Staff will be amazing this year.
