Risk everything for love, as most people would say. This new movie, “Everything, Everything,” will most definitely have you in love. According to Movie Insider, “Everything, Everything” is about a teenage girl named Maddie Whittier who has severe combined SCID, also known as “bubbly baby disease”, a rare disease that causes her to be allergic to pretty much everything. She has spent all her life hiding in her home only seeing her mother and her nurse, Carla. Until one day when a boy named Olly White moves in next door, Maddie begins to fall in love.

“Everything, Everything” was released on Friday, May 19, 2017. According to Movie Insider, the film was based on a young adult novel by Nicola Yoon. The book was published in September and was released at No. 1 on the New York Times Young Adult best-seller list. This film was rated 4 out of 5 stars and was given reviews from “I absolutely loved this movie! It will give you butterflies!” to “This movie is just awful, don’t waste your time and money on this.”

As I mentioned earlier the movie was based on a book. When books turn into movies, many things are changed such as in the movie many roles were changed and scenes. In the book, Olly never noticed her, but in the movie he walked passed her house wondering who she was. To compare to that, when Carla is fired, Maddie has many nursing jobs. Whereas in the movie, Janet is Carla’s replacement.

Overall, “Everything, Everything,” is a loved film, but certainly not for everyone. However, it promises to certainly satisfy some.
